WHAT IS YEACAL?
YEAcal’s Core values include Profitability, Fair Trade, Environmental Awareness, Community Service, Networking, and International Relations. These values are incorporated into YEAcal’s meetings and events. We believe in doing business with standards of integrity and personal ambition aimed to help others. With these values in mind, we continue to build leadership skills, business skills, communication skills, and marketing strategies. Through this learning experience young individuals are able to learn business etiquette and also collaborate with like minded entrepreneurs.

INNOVATION: Innovating ideas ignite creative thinking, problem solving, change, and new markets to emerge. We believe in positive change that will help our society. By emphasizing innovation we are enabling a generation of thinkers and doers. YEAcal encourages eco-friendly innovation in order to preserve Earth’s natural resources.
CREATION: Creating a business is a challenge, there are many factors that are learned through the process and years of experience. Through failure and mistakes, lessons are learned. We want to provide students with valuable lessons and a chance for them to be more prepared as they begin their journey into the business world. Although risk taking is not discouraged, we aspire critical thinking.
COLLABORATION: We promote collaborating as a team in order to reach the final objective. By encouraging teambuilding, individuals are able to combine their distinct skills and abilities into a successful result. Working as a team creates synergy, trust, communication, and leadership skills. The ability to work with diverse individuals both effectively and respectfully is very important. We aim to create an atmosphere where both men and women are allowed to express their ideas.

Maintaining a profitable and sustainable business is essential to a successful enterprise. In order to put great ideas into action, YEAcal emphasizes the importance of accounting and marketing.
FAIR TRADE:
Is valued in YEAcal in order to build long-term trust and integrity into our businesses. We look for the best prices without exploiting the vendor or buyer.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS:
We value Earth’s natural resources and support innovating products that are Eco-Friendly. Throughout our meetings we conserve paper, water, and ink.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Although it is not mandatory, we encourage giving part of the profits or donations to the community. By supporting local or large projects we are helping others and contributing to the economy.
DIVERSE NETWORK:
Our organization consists of a diverse range of students from different schools and organizations. Our mission is to unite young entrepreneurs to expand their social and professional network.
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS:
YEAcal encourages International Relations in order to promote global relations and create exposure to different markets. We provide information on importations, exportations, franchising, and Business culture.

AMINA PASHA
PRESIDENT
Amina Pasha was born and raised in California. She was passionate about following her parents' footsteps as successful entrepreneurs. Her first encounter with sales was when she first started Girl Scouts selling cookies. Learning the tips and tricks of marketing, advertising, and sales from a young age has set her off to entrepreneurship with creating Nat Nat Natural. She has created her own vegan, organic, and all natural soaps for her skincare line. Realizing that there is a redundant amount of chemical use in our daily lives, Amina has broadened minds with her soaps protecting the largest organs of her peers- the skin- with her fragrant-free soap bars with only essential oils and all natural clays. Her importance in motivation has inspired her to share her knowledge and passion to youths through the YEACAL organization.
ANNIKA PASETA
FOUNDER
Annika Paseta was born in Peru. When she was two years old, she moved to the United States. As she was growing up, her father would talk to her about his business investments and work. She was intrigued by the complexity of owning a business and problem solving. When she was seven years old, she wanted to major in business and help impoverished children in Peru and Africa. In High School, she decided it was time to make a difference. As she started involving herself in her community, she realized there wasn't an organization for young individuals who were interested in pursuing business. Since, school did not provide business classes; her limited amount of knowledge motivated her to read books about Entrepreneurship and Economics. She decided to form "The Young Entrepreneur Association of California" (YEAcal) for motivated young entrepreneurs in her county. Her vision was to create a professional atmosphere where young entrepreneurs can learn, express, and excel in their skills. Annika believes that it is important to identify personal strengths and weaknesses. She wants to give individuals the chance to acknowledge these strengths to create and innovate something that will help our society. She identifies herself as an Entrepreneur because she is willing to take risks to put her ideas into action. On her free time, she enjoys doing crafts and working with different textiles. Her niche for creativity and fashion led her to start her own company, Anikiu. She is now redesigning and embellishing backpacks and shorts.
